Claude Sodokin

Claude Sodokin is a seasoned climate professional currently serving as a Climate NDC & LT-LEDS Specialist at the UN Environment Programme since April 2022, where responsibilities include supporting e-mobility initiatives and long-term low emission development strategies in partnership countries. Additionally, Claude has worked as a Climate Change Consultant focusing on translating Nationally Determined Contributions into actionable strategies. As a Climate Change Advisor at the AU-EU Youth Cooperation Hub, Claude engages with diverse experts to address climate challenges in Africa and Europe. Claude is also the Founder and Partnership Lead of Ecolotrip, a prominent youth-led organization in climate advocacy. Furthermore, Claude is involved with Time for the Planet, aiming to gather investments for climate-focused enterprises, and holds the title of One Young World Ambassador, participating in a global summit for young leaders. Previous roles have included research positions with CEA and ONERA, complemented by a solid educational background in engineering and sustainable development.
