Gustavo A. Romero Poveda

Gustavo A. Romero Poveda is a seasoned consultant with extensive experience in migration policy, violence prevention, and child protection in Colombia. Currently serving as a methodological consultant for OIM - ONU Migración, Gustavo advises on gender-sensitive methodologies for the implementation of comprehensive migration policy across key Colombian cities. Prior roles include consulting for the Presidential Counsellor for National Reconciliation and the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF), focusing on violence prevention strategies for children and adolescents. Gustavo has also contributed to various organizations, including UNICEF, Save the Children, and War Child Holland, managing programs aimed at child protection and education. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Social Policy and numerous diplomas in project monitoring, evaluation, and political management.
