Irene Kaumbuthu

Irene Kaumbuthu has extensive experience in procurement and logistics within the international migration sector, primarily with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) - UN Migration, where roles included Procurement & Logistics Officer and Procurement and Logistics Expert. Irene's tenure at IOM spans over a decade, with responsibilities ranging from procurement contracts and agreements to capacity building in migration management. Prior experience includes serving as an Information Officer at the Embassy of Japan. Irene holds a Master of Arts in International Studies from the University of Nairobi, a Bachelor of Commerce from Daystar University, and an Advanced Diploma in Procurement from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
