Rachel Sanchez Keneally

Rachel Sanchez Keneally serves as the Government Liaison & Program Coordination Officer at IOM - UN Migration since June 2017, focusing on advancing the agency's relationship with the U.S. Previously, Rachel held the position of National Liaison and Coordination Officer, fostering close collaboration with U.S. stakeholders, and supported IOM's private sector fundraising strategy as an Operations Associate. Rachel's experience includes roles as Donor Liaison Assistant and Intern at the Office of the Chief of Mission, contributing to over 30 global capacity development and migrant assistance programs. In addition to previous volunteer roles and internships, Rachel was the Director of Young Professionals for the United Nations Association Orange County and served as a Task Force Volunteer for the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force. Rachel earned a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from California State University, Long Beach, with additional study at Universidad de Salamanca.
