Stephen Lennon

Stephen Lennon has extensive experience in international migration and development, currently serving as the Overall Site Coordinator for the Operations Allies Welcome at IOM - UN Migration since August 2021, overseeing a diverse staff of around 800 across multiple locations in the United States during a critical event following the evacuation from Afghanistan. Prior to this role, Stephen held positions including Director at The Palladium Group and Senior Policy Adviser at the United States Agency for International Development. Additionally, Stephen's extensive career at USAID's Office of Transition Initiatives included various leadership roles spanning over a decade. Earlier experience also features serving as Head of the Community Stabilization Unit at the International Organization for Migration. Stephen's academic background includes a Master's in International Affairs from Columbia University and a Master's in English Literature from the University of Rhode Island, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Southern Illinois University.
