Askari Jaferi

Askari Jaferi has extensive experience in project management and finance within the non-profit sector, currently serving as the Deputy Chief of Party for the USAID-funded Pakistan Reading Project at the International Rescue Committee since September 2013. Jaferi's previous roles include Deputy Chief of Party at Winrock International, where operational management was overseen in Southern Sudan, and Director of Finance & Compliance at the International Rescue Committee, managing a $75 million portfolio. Early career experience includes positions at Save the Children UK and Trust for Voluntary Organizations, focusing on program and financial management for significant USAID-funded initiatives. Jaferi holds a Chartered Accountants Intermediate Certification and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Forman Christian College.
