Hany Bakr

Hany Bakr is a highly experienced professional in aviation and maritime security, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Aviation & Maritime Security at International SOS since July 2021. Hany has also held the position of Regional Officer for Aviation Security & Facilitation at the International Civil Aviation Organization since October 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing regional security initiatives and supporting member states. Prior roles include Vice President Group Security at Qatar Airways, where Hany directed the aviation and asset protection security operations, and Security Director for Aviation & Maritime - EMEA at International SOS. Hany's extensive background also encompasses various managerial positions in ground operations, safety, and security at organizations such as NAS Holding and British Midland International. Hany holds a Master of Science in Security and Risk Management from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor of Science in Tourism and Travel Management.
