Shelly Carroll

Shelly Carroll is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in geospatial strategy and stewardship programs. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Stewardship Program at the International Water Institute, Carroll focuses on helping farmers enhance profitability while managing environmental risks. Prior roles include senior leadership positions at Nearmap, where responsibilities included global geospatial strategy and location intelligence solutions, and Woolpert, managing geospatial solutions for various sectors. As a co-founder and COO of SC Recon Geospatial, Carroll specialized in disaster response and climate resiliency. Educational qualifications include certifications in business analysis and project management, alongside a BS in Geography with a GIS focus from the University of Iowa.
