Alex Ude holds an MBA and has extensive experience in compliance and financial crime controls. Currently serving as Chief Compliance Officer at Interswitch Group since September 2023, Alex previously held significant roles, including Head of Financial Crime Compliance for Standard Chartered Bank in Nigeria and West Africa from September 2015 to March 2022, where leadership was provided to ensure robust compliance frameworks. Prior to this, Alex worked at Stanbic IBTC in various compliance roles from May 2008 to August 2015 and held positions at Spring Bank Plc and Guardian Express Bank, demonstrating a strong commitment to regulatory compliance and a track record of effective engagement with regulatory bodies. Alex earned both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
