Oluwayemisi Ismail

Oluwayemisi Ismail is a skilled Software Engineer with experience at Interswitch Group since June 2023 and a former MLH Fellow (Software Engineer) at Major League Hacking from January to April 2023. During the fellowship, contributions were made to a Django open-source project, including addressing issues with Django Admin Foreign keys widgets and enhancing middleware for sensitive post parameters filtering. Prior experience includes a role as a Java Software Engineer at Gada Health, where code reviews and Test Driven Development were employed to boost application performance, along with API development using REST architecture. Training as a Software Engineering Trainee at Semicolon provided foundational knowledge in critical thinking, design patterns, and various programming paradigms, while education includes a Bachelor's degree in Physics Education from Lagos State University and ongoing postgraduate studies in Computer Science at Babcock University.
