Derek Elder

Derek Elder is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the broadband technology sector. Currently serving as the President of the Service Provider Business Group at Sercomm since May 2018, Derek focuses on delivering innovative broadband solutions for service providers. Previous leadership roles include President of Sercomm Technology Inc., where responsibilities included overseeing the design and manufacturing of advanced broadband technologies. Derek is also an active member of advisory boards, including Intraway and Technetix, and serves as an Independent Director for Miratech and Vecima Networks Inc. Additionally, Derek founded Derson Advisors and Derson Capital, strategic advisory and private equity firms focused on technology companies. An engaged member of YPO and former board member for organizations like the Emma Bowen Foundation, Derek holds an MBA from Penn State University and has completed executive programs at Columbia and Harvard Business Schools.
