Susan Lagana

Susan Lagana currently serves as Principal at Invariant since November 2022. Prior to this role, Susan was a Partner at Brunswick Group from November 2020 to December 2022 and held the position of Managing Director/Executive Vice President at BCW Global between February 2017 and November 2020. Earlier, Susan worked at the U.S. Department of Transportation in various capacities including Director of Public Affairs from September 2014 to January 2017, and had a brief assignment at The White House as an attorney in 2014. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Communications for the Secretary of the U.S. Navy from August 2011 to April 2014 and working as an Associate at Sidley Austin from October 2009 to August 2011, as well as acting as Communications Director for Obama for America in North Carolina during the 2008 election. Susan Lagana holds a Doctor of Law with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in International Relations and Affairs from Georgia Institute of Technology.
