Daniel Runyan

Daniel Runyan has extensive experience in business development and project management within the energy sector, particularly in wind energy. Since January 2015, Daniel has served as Managing Director at Pattern Energy Group in the Netherlands, leading development efforts, including the successful Amazon Wind Farm project and ongoing initiatives in Japan. Prior to this role, Daniel held various positions at BP Wind Energy North America, overseeing regional project development, and worked as a Senior Business Consultant at Power Costs Inc, focusing on optimizing electric power assets. Additional experience includes business development roles at Duke Energy and consultancy work at Black & Veatch. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
