Hishaam M B Caramanli

Hishaam M B Caramanli is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Group Chief Product Officer at ION since February 2020, Hishaam previously held significant positions at UBS Investment Bank as the Global Head of Securities eCommerce & UBS Neo, where Hishaam developed the UBS Neo platform. Prior to this, Hishaam was Global Head of Morgan Stanley Matrix, creating the Morgan Stanley Matrix platform. Hishaam’s career also includes founding eSubstance and serving as European CIO for Sales & Trading, with notable clients including Opodo and Glaxo Smith Kline. Hishaam began a long tenure at Morgan Stanley in their Graduate program, eventually becoming Head of Fixed Income eBusiness. Hishaam holds a BSc in Computer Science from King’s College London.
