Tim Flinders

Tim Flinders is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in software development and operations across various sectors. Currently serving as CTO/COO for Asset Management at ION since July 2019, Tim has played a key role in transitioning the company to SaaS solutions and optimizing compliance and trading systems in the AWS Cloud. Previously, Tim held positions including Buy-side Chief Architect at Fidessa, Chief Development Officer at OmPrompt, and Director of Development at Eze Software Group, where responsibilities included overseeing large teams and high-performance transaction systems. Tim's career also features roles at FLINIOM Limited, Miquest Ltd, FREEDOM4 Limited, and Pipex, showcasing a strong foundation in systems architecture and team leadership. Educational achievements include an MBA from The Open University Business School and a BENG hons in Electroacoustics from The University of Salford.
