Alexander Newman

Alexander Newman is a self-employed writer focused on recovery after a stroke since October 2011, with insights shared on the website http://ScratchOneLife. Prior to this, Alexander worked as a voice talent providing vocal coaching from March 2009 to October 2011. Previously, Alexander held the position of Technical Writer at Google from September 2006 to March 2009, specializing in internal engineering documentation and teaching, with a focus on Checkout and Search. From March 2000 to January 2006, Alexander served as a Senior Technical Analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where responsibilities included writing Java security APIs and conducting web security code reviews. Alexander began career at Bankers Trust as an Assistant Vice President, overseeing SMTP backbone and directory systems from 1998 to 1999. Academically, Alexander holds a BA in Acting from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, as well as both a BA and MA in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, alongside an educational background from Winchester College.
