Sian Carr

Sian Carr is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Global Head of Training and Capabilities - Medical Excellence at Ipsen since July 2020. In this leadership role, Sian oversees a team responsible for developing and delivering scientific training to the Global Medical community and participates in the Global Medical Excellence Leadership team. Previously, Sian held several leadership positions in Medical Affairs at Boehringer Ingelheim, overseeing diverse therapy areas including Oncology and Specialty Medicine, and held roles at United Therapeutics, Grünenthal Group, and Novartis focusing on strategic medical affairs and drug discovery. Sian's academic credentials include a PhD in Pharmacology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Communications, alongside current enrollment in an ICF Accredited Certificate in Professional Coaching Practice.
