Aleksandra Borodina

Aleksandra Borodina is a seasoned professional in the field of research and catastrophe modeling, currently serving as the Research Lead at IQUW since March 2023. Prior to this role, Aleksandra worked as a Research Analyst at Securis Investment Partners LLP from June 2021 to February 2023 and developed catastrophe models at Guy Carpenter from June 2018 to June 2021. Aleksandra's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Climate Physics from ETH Zurich, supplemented by a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Liverpool, obtained between 2009 and 2013. Additionally, Aleksandra has enhanced expertise through postdoctoral research at ETH Zurich from September 2013 to April 2017.
