Basak Akalin

Basak Akalin is an experienced professional in clinical research, currently serving as Manager of Study Start-up at Excelya since October 2020, along with roles as Study Start-up Team Lead and Sr. Site Start Up Specialist. Prior experience includes positions as Sr. Study Start Up Specialist at ZEINCRO from November 2017 to April 2021, Clinical Trial Assistant at PAREXEL from June 2015 to November 2017, and Reg & Start Up Coordinator at Quintiles from August 2011 to June 2015, where responsibilities included assisting Clinical Research Associates with site compliance and performance tracking, as well as managing clinical documentation. Basak began a career in research as a Research Assistant at Istanbul University from September 2008 to July 2011 and also worked as a private teacher during that time.
