Rory Gallagher

Rory Gallagher is an experienced compliance professional currently serving as the Chief Compliance Officer for Irish Life Group and Irish Life Assurance plc since August 2021. Prior to this, Rory held the position of Head of Regulatory Compliance & MLRO at New Ireland Assurance plc from July 2016 to September 2021. Rory's career also includes a role as Head of Legal and Compliance at Aegon Ireland plc, where responsibilities encompassed managing legal and compliance functions across multiple countries. Earlier experience includes working as a solicitor in the insurance unit of A&L Goodbody Solicitors. Rory holds a Solicitor degree from the Law Society of Ireland, an LLM in Commercial Law from Trinity College Dublin, and several certifications in data protection, compliance, and mediation.
