Siddhesh Rane

Siddhesh Rane is a Computer Vision Software Engineer at iRobot since January 2021, contributing to traditional computer vision and structure from motion research and development. Previously, Siddhesh held an internship as a Computer Vision Software Engineering Intern at Airgility and worked as a Robotics Software Engineer at Seegrid, where collaboration on 3D sensor evaluation and implementation of efficient C++ code using the PCL library were key responsibilities. In 2018, Siddhesh founded and developed the Android app 'Idea Manager', which has gained over 10,000 active installs. Additionally, Siddhesh created a YouTube channel focused on Inkscape, amassing over 6.8K subscribers and producing over 130 educational episodes. Siddhesh obtained a Master's degree in Robotics from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
