Menuka Perera

Menuka Perera is currently a Doctoral Researcher at IRT b-com, focusing on developing an AI-based autoscaling solution for CNFs in a Kubernetes environment to enhance QoS and reduce operational costs. Additionally, Menuka serves as a Research Engineer at EXFO and has previously worked as a Researcher at Université de Nantes, where machine learning was applied for network traffic classification in software-defined networks. Earlier experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at NECTEC, concentrating on Android application development for indoor localization, and as a Junior Engineer at NMI Communications, involved in troubleshooting RF systems and conducting technical support. Menuka holds a Doctor of Philosophy from IMT Atlantique and multiple Master's degrees in Communication Networks and Telecommunications Engineering from Télécom SudParis and the Asian Institute of Technology.
