Marquette McGee

Marquette McGee is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Assistant Principal at Duncanville Independent School District since July 2023. Prior roles include District Math Curriculum Writer/Facilitator for DeSoto Independent School District and Assistant Principal at Seagoville High School within the Dallas Independent School District. McGee has also worked as an Administrative Liaison at Sam Houston Middle School in Irving Independent School District, where responsibilities included addressing discipline issues and coordinating the STAAR testing process. A former middle school mathematics teacher and department chair, McGee has a proven track record of enhancing instructional practices through data analysis and innovative teaching strategies. Additionally, McGee holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Concordia University-Portland and is certified in Principalship from Lamar University. Prior to a career in education, McGee worked as an Engineer at Verizon, focusing on network optimization.
