Steve Ferguson

Steve Ferguson currently serves as the Senior Director of Advocacy at the International Society of Automation (ISA) since September 2024. Prior to this role, Steve held the position of Director of Research at ASME from March 2020 to September 2024. Steve's extensive experience at ASHRAE from February 2005 to March 2020 includes roles such as Senior Manager of Standards, Manager of Codes, and Assistant Manager of Standards - Codes, focusing on the development of standards and guidelines as well as involvement in model code and international standards. Earlier in Steve's career, a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at Vanderbilt University from August 2002 to August 2004 involved research in robotics and non-linear control theory. Steve obtained a Bachelor of Engineering from Vanderbilt University (1998-2002) and a High School Diploma from Westminster (1992-1998).
