Elena Carta

Elena Carta is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Legal Counsel at GLS Italy since June 2021, specializing in contract drafting, negotiation, and review. Elena is also a member of the Future Leaders Program at ISPI - Istituto per gli Studi di Politica Internazionale. Prior experience includes serving as a Member of the District Council Municipio 1 in Milan, where Elena was notably the most voted woman in support of the mayor and held the position of Vice President of the Education and Safety Commission. Elena has a background in corporate law, having worked as a Lawyer at Studio Legale NGD and in various trainee positions, including with La Scala Società tra Avvocati and Banca d'Italia. Elena holds a Master of Laws in Commercial and Corporate Law from Queen Mary University of London, alongside an advanced course in Financial Market Law and a Doctor of Law degree from Università degli Studi di Milano, complemented by an Erasmus program at Universidad de Oviedo.
