Özkan Göksal

Özkan Göksal was born in 1955 in Bozdoğan/Aydin. He graduated from primary school in Bozdoğan. Later, he graduated from Bursa Imam Hatip High School and Aydın High School. He completed his undergraduate (1978) and master's (1980) education at Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Naval Architecture.

Turkey Ship Industry Inc. He worked as a design engineer at Camialtı Shipyard for 2 years. He did his military service as a Reserve Officer at the Naval Training Command, Maritime High School Command (1981-1982).

Özkan Göksal is the founder and general manager of Ortadoğu Engineering, the founder and general manager of Ensar Engineering Bureau (1982-1983), the founder and general manager of Ensar Gemi ve Yan Sanayi Ltd. (1983-1998). Ltd. Sti., (1998) Bilge Consulting and Publishing Ltd. Sti., founder and chairman of the board, (2001) Merdiven Construction and Tourism Ltd. Şti., he was the founder and chairman of the board of directors (2009). Currently, the last 3 commercial activities and duties continue. In addition to his business life, he is a member of the Assembly at the Chamber of Maritime Commerce, a member of the Honorary Board of the Chamber of Ship Engineers, a member of the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board of the Ship Industrialists' Association, the Chairman of the Council, a founding member of the Culture Council, a founding member of the Science Spreading Foundation, Istanbul Sabahattin. He served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Zaim University. In December 2021, he was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University.
