Keijo Virtanen

Keijo Virtanen is an experienced project manager and technical architect with a career spanning over two decades in various roles within the ICT sector. Currently serving as Projektipäällikkö at Istekki Oy since November 2022, Virtanen previously held the position of Tekninen Arkkitehti at the Geological Survey of Finland from January 2021 to November 2022. Prior experience includes roles such as Project Manager at LapIT Oy and Solution Architect at the Government ICT Centre Valtori, where Virtanen led a capacity services team. Earlier positions at ICT Agency HALTIK involved responsibilities in system administration and IT services management, and Virtanen began the career as an Operator and then Chief Operator at PTHK. Virtanen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Data Processing from Rovaniemi Polytechnic.
