Kishonbabu Kasukurti

Kishonbabu Kasukurti is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the nuclear sector, currently serving as a Manufacturing & Assembly Engineer of Diagnostic Port Plug Assemblies at ITER Organization since October 2020. Prior to this role, Kasukurti worked at Orano (formerly Areva) as a Project Engineer and Fabrication Engineering Consultant from January 2017 to December 2019, providing project engineering support for the manufacturing of nuclear spent fuel canisters and casks. Before joining Orano, Kasukurti was the Head of Design & Engineering for the Nuclear Equipment & Systems Business Group at Larsen & Toubro Limited, leading a team in the successful revalidation of certifications from ASME. Early career at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre as a Scientific Officer involved the design and development of crucial components for India's nuclear submarine program. Kishonbabu Kasukurti holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy, and an equivalent master’s degree in Nuclear Design and Engineering from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre.
