Omar Hamdan

Omar Hamdan is an experienced finance professional with a solid background in financial management and accounting. Currently serving as Regional Finance Manager at IUCN since August 2022, Omar previously held the position of Accounting Manager at Mercy Corps from December 2016 to August 2022. Additional experience includes roles as Grant Accountant at World Vision, Finance Officer at the International Rescue Committee, and Finance Officer at ACTED. Omar began the career as an Accountant at Middle East for Cable Industry from July 2008 to December 2012. Omar holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Jerash Private University, earned between 2004 and 2008.
