Tracy Farrell serves as the Director of the North American Region at IUCN since August 2021, overseeing policy work in the US and Canada and ensuring financial viability in line with IUCN policies. Prior to this role, Tracy held various positions at Conservation International, including Vice President of Project Delivery and Monitoring, where leadership in project design and implementation of significant funding projects was emphasized, and Vice President of Strategy and Fundraising for the Asia Pacific Division, managing strategy and fundraising efforts. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Technical Director for Conservation International in the Greater Mekong region, Senior Director for the Freshwater Initiative, and Program Dean at the School for Field Studies. Tracy holds a PhD in Natural Resource Management/Forestry from Virginia Tech and multiple degrees from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
