Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions, particularly in educational technology. Since July 2010, Chris has been with SMART Technologies, contributing to the development of hardware and firmware for DViT interactive whiteboards and related educational devices. Prior experience includes serving as an electronics contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, where responsibilities included designing and repairing educational devices, and as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for forestry equipment. Additionally, Chris has experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
