Tilanus Shiindi

Tilanus Shiindi is an accomplished geologist with extensive experience in mineral exploration and consultancy. Currently serving as a Senior Geologist at Ivanhoe Electric since November 2024, Tilanus previously held positions including Exploration Geologist at Trevali from August 2018 to December 2024, focusing on the Gariep Belt and Rosh Pinah Pb-Zn Mine, and Senior Exploration Geologist at Rosh Pinah Zinc from February 2021 to July 2023. As the founder and Principal Geologist of Flood Mineral Services Ltd., established in April 2017, Tilanus provides top-tier consultancy services within the Namibian mineral sector. Additional roles include Exploration Geologist at The MSA Group and at Trevali RPZC, and Geoscientist at Rio Tinto, emphasizing expertise in both uranium and copper exploration. Education includes a BSc (hons) in Geology from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Bachelor's degree in Geology and Physics from the University of Namibia.
