Vongani Nkuna

Vongani Nkuna is an experienced metallurgical professional with a robust background in process engineering and management. Currently serving as Group Manager for Metallurgy at Ivanhoe Mines since January 2014, Vongani has also held positions including Process Manager and Senior Process Engineer for the Kamoa project. Previous roles encompassed significant contributions at SNC-Lavalin, Amec Minproc, Aquarius Platinum Limited, and Mintek, where expertise in process plant design and metallurgical operations, particularly in mineral processing and hydrometallurgical processes for base metals and uranium, was developed. Vongani's educational credentials include degrees in Chemical Engineering and Applied Science, alongside various certifications in financial markets and project management.
