William Hayden

William Hayden is an experienced business professional with a background in governance, management consulting, and infrastructure development. William has served on the boards of various companies in South Africa, including the Development Bank of Southern Africa, Sephaku Holdings Ltd, and Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. In their current role as an independent director, they provide advice and guidance to these companies on a range of issues such as policy, strategy, funding, and tariffs.

Hayden began their career in February 2008 as the owner of M J Janse van Rensburg, a consultancy firm specializing in governance and management consulting. William has since gained a wealth of experience in the implementation and financing of large infrastructure projects. In addition to their work as an independent director, Hayden is also a member of the International and Structured Finance Credit Committee of First Rand Bank and the Ashburton Investment Credit Committee.

William Hayden's educational career includes completing a Executive development program at Stanford University Business School, as well as qualifications in CA from SAICA and B Compt Hons in Auditing & Accounting from University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. William also has a B Com in Accountancy from University of the Free State.
