Genesis Fisher

Genesis Fisher, Esq. is an accomplished mediator, trainer, and facilitator currently serving as a Mediator and Associate Director of the JAMS Institute since September 2022. As the Founder and Principal Attorney of Fisher Law Practice, P.C., established in September 2016, Genesis specializes in conflict resolution and family mediation services. An Adjunct Clinical Law Professor at New York Law School since August 2014, Genesis has previously directed the Mediation Clinic and taught courses in mediation at Rutgers Law School and John Jay College. With experience as an Arbitrator for FINRA and a Mediator in New York City Family Court, Genesis has a strong background in custody and parenting agreements. Earlier career roles include being a Trial Attorney at The Legal Aid Society and a Legal Fellow at the Southern Poverty Law Center. Genesis holds a law degree from New York University School of Law and a bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Smith College.
