Gerhard Ruzicka

Gerhard Ruzicka has extensive experience in technical sales and engineering, currently serving as Technischer Vertrieb at Janitza electronics GmbH since September 2022, specializing in hardware and software for energy monitoring and voltage quality. From 2013 to 2022, Gerhard held the position of Vertriebsingenieur at Gira Giersiepen GmbH & Co. KG, focusing on building system technology based on KNX and providing training for system integrators. Prior to this, Gerhard was Head of Transmission NW Operation and Maintenance at Alcatel Lucent Managed Services from 2008 to 2013, leading a team responsible for operation and maintenance of data transmission networks for mobile operators. Gerhard's background includes roles as Senior Transmission Engineer at ALCATEL-LUCENT AUSTRIA AG and Transmission Engineer at Connect Austria/ONE, with initial training as a Radio and TV Mechanic at Philips. Gerhard holds several qualifications, including a Berufsreifeprüfung and Werkmeisterprüfung in Industrial Electronics.
