Maeve Gardner

Maeve Gardner is an experienced professional in state government affairs with a strong background in lobbying and association management. Currently serving as the Director of State Government Affairs at Jazz Pharmaceuticals since January 2022, Gardner previously held the same title at GlaxoSmithKline from January 2012 to January 2022, where responsibilities included drafting legislation and maintaining relationships with state lawmakers and advocacy organizations. Earlier roles included Director of Association Management at Smith Anderson, where Gardner managed trade associations and advised clients on campaign finance compliance, and Member Support Manager at the National Federation of Independent Business. Gardner began a career in legislative support as a Senior Legislative Aide to the NC House Minority Leader from 2004 to 2006. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in History from Wake Forest University and completion of the Comprehensive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School Executive Education.
