Melanie Des Marais

Melanie Des Marais, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Human Resources Director at Jefferson County PUD since December 2019. Prior to this role, Melanie held various positions within the Bellevue School District from September 2018 to December 2019, including Salary Specialist and Employment Specialist. Earlier experience includes roles as a Human Resources Generalist and Coordinator at N3 from July 2016 to August 2018, Human Resources Administrative Assistant - Benefits at NAES Corporation from July 2015 to July 2016, and Program Support Staff for Language and Culture Programs at Western Washington University from June 2013 to June 2015. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services with a minor in Communication from Western Washington University, completed in June 2015, and continued education at South Puget Sound Community College from January 2021 to August 2022.
