Gayle Stidsen-Smith

Gayle Stidsen-Smith serves as the Vice President of Information Technology at Jefferson since September 2024. Previously, Gayle held various leadership roles at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from 2001 to October 2024, including Associate CIO/AVP of Business Applications, Operations & HIM, where oversight included five direct reports and 600+ staff with control of multimillion-dollar budgets. Additional roles included Senior Director of Digital Health & Data Integration, where Gayle collaborated on the digital health strategy, and Senior Director overseeing a 35-person team for patient access and revenue cycle applications. Prior experience includes positions at UMDNJ, Shared Medical Systems, and Penn Medicine, along with educational credentials comprising a BA in Physical and Biological Anthropology from Temple University and an MS in Healthcare Administration/Info Systems from Saint Joseph's University.
