James Kirk

James Kirk is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security and privacy management. Currently serving as the Head of Security and Privacy at Jellyfish since June 2022, James previously held significant positions at Datadog, where notable achievements included leading compliance efforts such as SOC-2 and HIPAA, and expanding the information security department. Prior roles include Regional Director at NCC Group and Advisor for IT Security at Puget Sound Energy, in addition to consulting positions at Rapid7 and the United States Department of Defense. James's career also includes managerial roles at Raytheon and Progeny Systems, and an early background in the US Navy, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/Information Systems Security from the University of Phoenix.
