Craig Purry

Craig Purry is an accomplished aerospace executive with extensive experience in the defence sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Jet Aviation Defence since January 2021, Craig Purry oversees various operations, including pilot training and support programs for the Australian Defence Force and other international clients. Previously, Craig Purry held senior leadership roles at Hawker Pacific from January 2005 to January 2021, managing government business operations and development across the Asia Pacific region. Craig Purry also has a solid background in program management and structural design engineering from a tenure at the Defence Materiel Organisation and academic credentials with First Class Honors in Aeronautical Engineering from UNSW, where Craig Purry published research on fatigue crack growth in aluminum alloys. Early career experience includes a supervisory role in the Royal Australian Air Force.
