Tufayel Ahmed

Claire joined JMW in October 2015 as a solicitor in the Clinical Negligence department.

Claire has assisted on successful catastrophic injury cases as well as assisting on complex high-value clinical negligence cases including birth injuries. Claire runs her own mixed case load made up of a wide variety of cases, including orthopaedic injuries, misdiagnosis of cancer, delayed diagnosis, surgical errors, dental claims, poor nursing care and a number of cases involving deaths.

Prior to joining JMW Claire worked at Express Solicitors where she completed her training contract. She has worked in clinical negligence since January 2012 and qualified as a solicitor in September 2014.

Claire completed her degree in Ancient History at the University of Nottingham and graduated in 2008. She went on to study for a Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP in 2009 and completed her Legal Practice Certificate at BPP in 2010.

In her spare time Claire enjoys baking, eating out and the theatre.
