Sushant Mohanty

Sushant Mohanty is currently an advisor at JobSync. Sushant previously served as the SVP - Chief Information Officer (CIO/CTO) at Register.com, Inc. from September 2002 to October 2007.

During their time at Register.com, Sushant led the development and launch of a new high-volume, flexible, and feature-rich Java based e-commerce and website platform. This new platform enabled faster product launches, improved site conversion, and direct marketing, including the migration of millions of customers. Sushant was also key in achieving Sarbanes-Oxley (SoX) and Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance, as well as modernizing the data center/hosting with 300+ servers, and 30 TB environment of Sun, IBM, Linux, Oracle and Microsoft technologies to improve service and reduce cost.

Under Sushant's leadership, the company's EBDITA improved from $13 million to over $27 million and the market-cap increased over two-fold within 12 months. Sushant also led the introduction of over 10 new web services products in the new platform within 12 months. Furthermore, Sushant achieved $10 millions annual savings in technology spend through modernization over two and half years.

As the M&A Technology lead, Sushant played a key role in taking Nasdaq listed Register.com private. This enabled the full return of capital to investors in less than 12 months,

Sushant Mohanty has a MS in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) from The George Washington University, a BS in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a FinTech Future Commerce Certification from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
