Rakesh Sutar

Rakesh Sutar is a New Product Development Specialist at John Deere India Pvt. Ltd. since October 2024, focusing on the development of new program parts for engines and engine auxiliaries while ensuring timely delivery. Previously, Rakesh served as a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager at John Deere from October 2017 to November 2024, managing global sourcing for hydraulics and leading engineering change management activities, with expertise in VAVE analysis and localization. Rakesh held the position of Section Manager for Supply Chain Management at John Deere and was a Senior Manager at Tata Motors from August 2011 to September 2017, where Rakesh gained experience in the development of various powertrain components. Early career included a role as a Senior Engineer at Bosch Chassis Systems India, contributing to significant automotive projects. Rakesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Production from D. Y. Patil College of Engineering & Technology and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from D Y Patil Polytechnic.
