Chen Li is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and physics. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at The Johns Hopkins University since January 2016, Chen previously held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and is a faculty member of the Laboratory for Computational Sensing & Robotics. Before this role, Chen worked as a Miller Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where significant contributions were made to the Complex Rheology and Biomechanics Lab. Chen's research experience also includes undergraduate assistance at Peking University, focusing on high temperature superconductivity. Chen earned a PhD in Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a BS in Physics from Peking University.
