Marta Sliwa

Marta Sliwa, Ph.D., is an accomplished professional in the field of chemistry with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as the Assistant Director for Doctoral Life Design and Program Director for OPTIONS at The Johns Hopkins University since September 2017, Marta has also held roles as Operations Associate at Hire Hopkins and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Physical Chemistry. Marta's education includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a Master’s degree, both from The Johns Hopkins University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Boston University. Prior internships include a position as a Materials Chemistry Intern at Johns Manville and a Conservation and Collections Management Science Research Intern at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, where Marta utilized advanced analytical methods in research. Marta's leadership skills were highlighted during their tenure as Vice President of Marketing & Communications for the Johns Hopkins Product Management Club from June 2022 to June 2023.
