Yuliana Lugo-Jose

Yuliana Lugo-Jose is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of emission control catalysis, specializing in NOx reduction and aftertreatment systems for heavy-duty diesel applications. Currently serving as Technical Account Manager, Technical Program Manager, Senior Application Engineer, and Application Engineer at Johnson Matthey since April 2015, Yuliana has a strong background in catalyst synthesis and evaluation, demonstrated through a research/teaching assistant role at the University of South Carolina from August 2009 to August 2014. Previous roles include summer researcher at Georgia Institute of Technology, where the focus was on amino acid analysis for pharmaceutical applications, and a co-op research position at Eastman Chemical Company, which involved root cause analysis and support for new PET product development. Yuliana holds a Ph.D. in Catalysis and Reaction Engineering from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
