Yan Gao

Yan Gao, P.E. currently serves as Associate Vice President and Senior Associate / Section Head of Structures at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson since June 2018, overseeing the management of the structures department, which includes the transportation structure design team and bridge inspection team. Responsibilities encompass production, design, oversight, project scheduling, and quality assurance of transportation structures. Previously, Yan Gao held the positions of Associate / Project Engineer and Design Engineer/Bridge Inspector at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson from June 2008 to 2018, focusing on preliminary and final design along with construction services for clients in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, and leading a bridge inspection team. Yan Gao holds a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Temple University, attending from 2004 to 2011, and has completed a Bridge Inspection Fresher Course.
