Kalyn Smith

Kalyn Smith is a software developer with a diverse range of experience in both technology and education. Currently serving as Software Developer 1 and High School Assistant Instructor at Code Differently since September 2021, Kalyn previously held the position of Junior Software Developer at Markee Co. from April 2021 to September 2021 and learned essential programming skills as a student at Code Differently from October 2020 to April 2021. Prior to transitioning into software development, Kalyn worked as a Program Specialist-Dance Instructor at The Y (YMCA) and as a Teen Development Specialist at the Boys & Girls Club, helping adolescents develop life skills through structured programs. Earlier experience includes assisting as a Substitute Teacher, supporting students with various disabilities. Kalyn graduated from the University of Delaware in 2018 with a high school diploma from Caesar Rodney High School in 2013.
