Michelle Parra, LMSW, currently serves as the Director of MARE and Family Services at Judson Center, overseeing a multi-disciplinary team focused on securing adoptive homes for children in Michigan's foster care system since February 2023. Additionally, Michelle has been a part-time lecturer in the School of Social Work at Eastern Michigan University since September 2020. From October 2009 to December 2022, Michelle held the position of Supervisor at the Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange, where responsibilities included managing a statewide information service for families and adoption professionals. Prior experience includes extensive roles at Judson Center and Huron Services for Youth, encompassing coordination of family meetings, foster care assessments, and supervision of treatment teams for juvenile delinquents. Michelle earned a Master's degree in Social Work and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Criminology from Eastern Michigan University.
